We are Kennel Club **APPROVED MEMBERS** of The Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme, and have been now for a number of years. This is verified by us having our own Unique Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme Membership Number.

At GOLBOURNE, the Health and Welfare of our Dogs is our main concern foremost.

Our BULLDOGS,FRENCH BULLDOGS and PUGS are Fully Health Screened/Tested in accordance to their Breed, and to the Terms and Conditions of membership of The Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme.

BULLDOGS: DNA Tested - HUU (Hyperuricosuria Urate Stones) Bulldog Breed Council Health Screened Heart Tested DNA Profiled.

PUGS: PDE Tested X-Rayed Hemivertabrae and Hips Heart Tested DNA Profiled.

FRENCH BULLDOGS: KC/BVA Eye Tested Heart Tested DNA Profiled, Patella Subluxation Tested (Using THE PUTNAM 1968 Scoring System) COLOURS IN THE FRENCH BULLDOG: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “RARE” IN THE COLOURS OF THE FRENCH BULLDOG. IF A FRENCHIES COAT COLOUR IS ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE COLOURS RECOGNISED BY THE UK KENNEL CLUB AND THE ONES GIVEN IN THE UK BREED STANDARD, THEN IT HAS AN UNDESIRABLE COAT COLOUR WHICH IS NOT RECOGNISED AS TYPICAL OF THIS BREED. THERE MAY BE UNDERLYING HEALTH ISSUES IN THESES UNDESIRABLE COLOURS, WHICH WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT, ESPECIALLY IN ALL TYPES OF ‘BLUE’ – ‘MOUSE’ – ‘CHOCOLATE’ – ‘LIVER’ and ‘BLACK & TAN’. THE ONLY COLOURS RECOGNISED BY THE UK KENNEL CLUB ARE: BRINDLE, PIED and FAWN. BRINDLE: - A mixture of Black and Coloured hairs.May contain White provided Brindle predominates. PIED: – White predominates over Brindle: but their Eyelashes and Eye Rims should be Black. In PIED,the White should be Clear with definite brindle patches and no Ticking or Black Spots. FAWN: – May contain Brindle hairs,but must have Black Eyelashes and Black Eye Rims.

From the very second Golbourne Puppies are born,they are Well Handled,Socialized and given the LOVE,CARE and ATTENTION these FANTASTIC BREEDS demand and deserve. From being weaned,they are raised on nothing but the finest of food to help give them the best possible start in life.

When Golbourne dogs retire from the Show Ring,Breeding or Stud Duties, they ALL stay here with us,and live out the rest of there days being loved in comfort and luxury.
We **DO NOT** and **WILL NOT** sell any of them what ever the price,or rehome them by putting them into other homes.
